Home depot has a screen locking system that works for plastic or vinyl . I used it on my back porch it worked great.I have heard of a channel locking system that holds clear vinyl to protect screen porches in winter?
just go buy plexi glass if your handy pre drill it and attach it to your screen porch you can remove it every spring and reattach it in fall.
